Schlötter was founded as an “Electrochemical Research Laboratory” in 1912. As a company, we are committed to the tradition of a strong background in research. Approximately 25% of the employees at our head office are active in R&D, developing new processes and continuously improving existing one. The good reputation, which we enjoy worldwide, is primarily due to our R&D activity. Our focus on research is also evident from the high number of patents which are filed for application each year.
